Demo Mini Update #1


Hello Foodies!

Our first little demo update is here :D! We've made some new quality of life updates based on a lot of feedback and playtesting we have done over the past few months. Alongside some new little sprinkles of polish here and there. We really love these new changes and updates, so we hope you do as well! We really wanted to get these new improvements out to you all now, as we continue overhauling our battle system in preparation for our next major development goals...

Changelog:

  • New Coffee Item (Applies an Effect When Consumed)
  • New VFX When Buffs & Debuffs Are Active
  • New Animated Sprites for Cutscenes
  • Sprite Recolours
  • Redesigned Elements of Dialogue (Text Effects/Animations, Text Colouring & Dialogue Updates)
  • New Easter Eggs...

Known Bugs:

  • UI in Inventory & Battle cannot support showing all items yet (Scrolling feature will be added at a later patch)
  • 'Dying' from poison in a very specific way can cause result in the game not registering a death, and failing to give a Game Over.
